In the joint degree program between Vinh University and Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University (RMU), Thailand, a delegation from RMU paid an official visit to Vinh University (VU) on September 1st, 2016 and transferred joint degree students to VU. The delegation included 7 officials and 25 students led by Ms. Tanyapat Donglun, head of the joint degree program at RMU and Ms. Amornrat Chaiyatum, lecturer and deputy head of International Cooperation and International Education.
After two years of English studies at RMU, the students are sent to VU to complete the last two years according to the agreement between two institutions. It is the 7th course in joint degree program between VU and RMU, involved students are beneficiary of privileges offered by two universities.
In the years to come, two universities keep promoting the cooperation in academics and staff and student exchange. As planned, VU will admit students who want to study at RMU. RMU commits to grant some scholarships to brilliant students with good knowledge of the Thai language.
Students will start their academic year on September 5, 2016, at Vinh University.
